In Branching, a shared framework establishes the conditions for all participants: the same materials, the same duration, and a basic set of instructions that leaves room for individual interpretation. From this starting point, different approaches to making emerge.

The process emphasizes how form is shaped within constraint. What is produced is not the result of open freedom, but of working within clearly defined limits that structure attention and decision-making. At the same time, these limits are not neutral; they actively shape how actions unfold and how they are later read.

Making and viewing are not separated. Each affects the other, so that interpretation becomes part of the work rather than something applied afterward. Authorship is therefore distributed across the process itself, including those who encounter the results.

The exhibition brings together outcomes that share the same origin but diverge in execution. Each piece reflects a different way of navigating the same conditions.
