Geography says there are two kinds of islands. The ones that drift away from a continent, which they have been part of. And those which pierce through the surface of the sea and have always been what they are. When I am longing for landscapes, I am mapping my desires. Knowing that space grows through its irreducible core same as through its unpredictable fringes.
